General description: Church seeks growing, mature Christian to oversee youth and music ministries. We are a family oriented church with a focus on missions/evangelism and feel that our youth and music are an integral part in the overall future development of our church, community and nation. As our church continues to grow we anticipate an expanded role in assisting the pastor in performing his duties. General responsibilities related to youth: The Youth Minister shall develop and implement a youth program that will encourage spiritual development of the youth (6th -12th grades) by means of teaching, guiding, counseling and mentoring. The programs and ministries developed shall cultivate the youth to grow as Christians and become a viable part of the church, community and nation. The Youth Minister shall work with the pastor to help undergird his ministry and minister to the church for Christ's name's sake. General responsibilities related to music: The Music Minister will coordinate all activities of the Music Director, Assistant Director, musicians, audio team leader and assistants and youth choir leader. Primary responsibilities include: Selecting, preparing and organizing all music used by adult choir for practices and all services. Coordinating music with pastor, pianist, assistant music director and audio team leader. More specific responsibilities will be discussed during interview. Seminary degree or Bachelor's degree from a Baptist college strongly preferred. Salary negotiable commensurate with education/experience. Resume deadline is Dec. 1, 2018. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
